Turn an AI idea into a structured investment thesis
Brainstorm a stock idea in ChatGPT or Claude, then hand it to Vexton. It structures the idea into a real investment thesis using a researched framework modeled on how super investors evaluate, shaped by your own checklist and checked for bias — without leaving the chat.
See it in action
Build an AI-powered investment thesis with Vexton — right inside your assistant.
A confident AI opinion is not a structured thesis
You can already brainstorm a stock idea with ChatGPT, and it will give you a confident, even web-grounded answer. What it will not do is structure it. You get an opinion, not a thesis: no consistent evaluation framework, no disconfirming checks, no model of how a disciplined investor would actually pressure-test the idea before acting on it. Generating the idea was never the hard part. Structuring it well enough to act on — every time, the same way — is.
Why a structured process beats a confident guess
Behavioral-finance research is consistent: disciplined, structured decisions outperform impulsive, unstructured ones — exactly what Vexton adds on top of an AI-generated idea.
Impulsive trading underperforms discipline
11.4% vs 18.5% a year
Across 66,000 households, the most active traders earned 11.4% a year while the least active earned 18.5% — a roughly 7-point gap driven by impulsive, unstructured decisions.
Barber & Odean, Journal of Finance (2000)Discipline is where the return is
+1 to 2 points a year
Vanguard estimates that behavioral coaching — keeping investors on a disciplined process instead of reacting — can add 100 to 200 basis points of net return a year, one of the largest sources of advisor value.
Vanguard Advisor's AlphaChecklists cut errors in high-stakes calls
Complications down ~36%
When hospitals worldwide adopted the WHO 19-item surgical checklist, major complications fell from 11% to 7% and deaths from 1.5% to 0.8% — the clearest evidence a checklist sharpens high-stakes decisions.

What Vexton adds to your AI workflow
- An opinionated structure, not a blank page — an evaluation card for each dimension that matters, modeled on how disciplined investors actually evaluate.
- Researched defaults, then your checklist — out of the box it evaluates against a researched framework drawn from super investor workflows; build your own checklist and it uses your criteria instead.
- Checked against your bias profile, where you have built one — flagging overconfidence, anchoring, confirmation, and herding.
- It remembers — every thesis is saved to your Vexton account, so you can revisit the decision later when the market moves.
What your assistant can do
Once connected, Vexton shows up as tools your AI assistant can call. There are three:
- Create a thesisSubmit an idea — individual stock, theme, event, or fund — and Vexton starts the research in the background.
- Fetch a thesis reportFetch the research result for a given thesis by id — the verdict and executive summary, plus progress while research is still running.
- List recent thesesGet a list of your recent theses to revisit or fetch by id.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it cost extra?
No. Connecting and reading your theses is free and included in your plan. Creating theses uses your plan's normal monthly quota — there is no separate MCP charge.

No. Vexton organizes research and supports your decisions. It is not investment, legal, or tax advice, and it makes no performance promises. You are responsible for your investment decisions.
Is my account secure?
